Just curious...
I'm always seeing white schools have frat houses for the BGLO's..
However, I have yet to see a black college have greek housing....
Why is this?

@ Elon, Phi Beta Sigma has an house ( a nice one too i might add)
I know at A&T, it is considered a "brothel" to have greek houses...I know though that the Omegas have an house and so do the Zetas ( I think maybe it's a club house) but the reason why most people don't have a house is because.....
TOO MUCH MONEY TO KEEP UP WITH!
and the liability.

The Alphas at Central had a house during the 60s and 70s. Right now, I believe only the Sigmas have a house.
I believe that the AKAs at SC State have a house.
But as was mentioned earlier, houses bring liability, and responsibility. Usually a member buys or rents a house near campus and that serves as the "unofficial" house.

BGLOs' have houses here at Skegee....just not on campus. The sororities and PBS dont though. Like even though the Kappas are kicked off the yard, they still have a house. Tha Alpha House, Que Mansion, and the Kappa's place are all in walking distance for those who dont have cars.

I think a major thing is funding.. I know our Alphas were trying to sell their house last year.. You probably won't find any BGLO houses on Campus, becuase that would make them the property of the university.. that would be leased to the org. SO.. thats a ****load of money for upkeep and rent....
