I can say that I truly do believe in God. When I was younger, my mother and father and grandparents always made me go to church and I really didn't understand why. Now, as I have gotten older and been delivered through so many trials and been blessed with so much, I now truly believe. I mean, you tell me how else my grandmother, who had ovarian cancer that was discovered in stage 4 survived when the doctors told us there was nothing they could do. Faith, prayers, and the Lord above.

Ok...check this out
When I was younger, I was pretty much forced into going to church (early teenage years). Over time tho, my faith has been challenged. Challenged to a point to where its almost non-existant. These days, I go to church, but I've got obligations with the church.
Its like, I'm hoping that somebody's out there looking after me, but bad breaks and other things have kept me from fully offering my heart to someone I have a hard time believing is looking after me.
Its hard for me to believe that God's on my side when I wake up & look around...and I'm not headed anywhere in school...bills can hardly be paid (we might not have such a merry Christmas this year
), friends have fell by the wayside, and the only things that make you happy are material things.
Its just rough these days.

I tried (and still do), but its gotten hard for me to trust Him these days. I haven't done nobody wrong. I dont drink & do **** (not in the past year), I dont hurt people, I dont **** people (altho I've had good reason to). I dont rob anybody. I dont sell dope. I just work and try to help my folks out when I can. But it seems like the dishonest & corrupt always have it best. I dunno. Everything's in limbo right now.
Im at a big crossroads in my life right now. I could either move away from home & start all over at a different school, leaving my folks & job behind, or I could try & mend things up at A&M (which is getting more unlikely as the days go by), or I can just drop out & work myself to death for the rest of my life.
I litterally begged God for some direction in my life, but its like I'm stuck in an open desert with no compass. At one point last year, I almost **** myself during Spring 2004 finals. I sat on the mountaintop one night with a 9mm baretta with 1 bullet in it. Something told me not to, but things haven't gotten any better since then.

Well, Im glad to be a saved, Holy Spirit filled Christian. Yea, my mom made me go to church but im soooooooooo glad she did because without God's help, my life would be in shambles. It sounds as if some of yall need to have FAITH. That's why you lose trust in God because you haven't built up your faith but I'll spare yall the sermon
