High school dancer needs advice

Hey y'all. I am a high school senior who will be attending Clark Atlanta University in the fall and I am hoping to make CAU's dance line.In April I will be attending the Essence Dance Line's tryouts.Basically I wanted to know if anyone had any advice or tips about college dance team tryouts(what you think they are looking for) and if there are any CAU students (or Essence dancers)who know a little bit about the team and what they want I would appreciate getting some info because I am really nervous and it's not even March yet. -please respond to post or email mahoganyqtpie@aol.com.
