my mom was talking to me about transferring and i said i wanted to go to clark and she was like...i wouldn't think you'd want to go to another black college...but i look at it like...if i go to a white school....its not going to be fun because they aren't going to cater to the blacks only the whites...i was just wondering....why can't there be a completely mixed school that hit the spot for everybody....everybody could enjoy it...why does it have to be majority black or majority white

From what I hear Georgia State is about the best example of a completely mixed school.

SO is Kentucky State University. It is historically black, but it's one of the many schools turning predominantly white. Right now though, it's pretty well mixed.

Georgia State is a very diverse school. I go there and sometimes I feel as though I am at an HBCU. However it's not just black or white, we have people from all backgrounds. It's a nice cultural experience.

VIRGINIA COMMONWEALTH UNIVERSITY, IN RICHMOND VA is a very very diverse school-just because we are not HBCU doesnt mean it is a "white" school. I dont even look at VCU as a "white" school. ODU in Norfolk is another mixed school too-i think these are the most mixed schools in VA. If u have thought about goin to a "white" school, but dont want to be surrounded by the white people, check these two out-especially if u in VA. And if u want more of the HBCU experience, ODU is next to NSU, and VCU is between VUU and VSU.

My mom went to VCU and she says even though the black population wasn't that high there were plenty of minorities. Georgia State is like the top mixed school, that's my top choice! I'm so glad to hear of other people who have heard of it

Key word: YOUR MOM, of course it wasnt as diverse as it is now. My god-sister who is 30 went to VCU and a lot of things have changed in some years. I was jus telling it how it is now, not back then.
