(based off of the too Eager for Nalia post)
i'm curious... what EXACTLY is greek stuff.
Frankly, being greek myslef I'm beginning to realize that there are way too many people within our respective organizations that are loosing sight of what it really means to be part of our respective orgs. I mean I understand there are things that we do on college campuses as Greek Lettered organizations however, i strongly doubt that our founders were party hopping, strolling, or wearing windbreaker/jackets with clever nicknames on them from jump.
Now... i'm not saying that there is anything wrong with these above because there isn't, however, within the realm of college campuses are we REALLY entitled to them exclusively and is it me or does it seem that at times we kinda Deebo the rights to do these things exclusively.
I see nowhere in our constitution, various governing documents, or even within our rituals that mention our right to be able to do any of the above or even comment on their RELEVANCE to our existance however, there are some people who argue up and down on why on Greeks should be entitled to these things.
My question to the rest of you, is what actually is "Greek Life" and for those of you part of your respective orgs, what does it mean to you?
