Hampton Scholarships

Hi, I've been accepted to Hampton, but money is an issue. I've heard that you need a 1200 to get a partial scholarship that would take care of tuition, and that's all I really need. The problem is I only have an 1160 on the SAT. Is there a way I can still get the scholarship? I filled out their scholarship application that came with the paper app, and had many of the extracurricular activities that they were looking for in a scholarship candidate. Do they take these activities into account when making a decision on scholarships? Do they look at the ACT when evaluating applicants as well? Any info would help a lot, thanks.

The tuition scholarship called Academic Acheiver Award has a minimum of 1100 on the SAT/24 on the ACT and a 3.5 GPA. This scholarship ranges from partial tuition to full tuition. The Presidential Scholarship has a minimum of 1200 on the SAT/27 on the ACT and a 3.5 GPA. This scholarship ranges from full tuition to full tuition/room and board.
