What is your take on having a LD relationship while you are in college? -Have you had any, or are you still involved in one? -Why did you break up with the person if you were in one? -Did/do/would you REALLY believe that the other person was not cheating on you?

Yep. I did it. The ultimate LD relationship - she was doing studying abroad in Spain for entire semester, and she spent summers - that's plural, now - in D.C. while I was in DE Yeah, it's taken ALOT (and I mean a world's worth) of patience & trust (on both sides) to make it work. But, I realize my love for the lady is worth any price. So, that's what makes it work.

I was in one about 6 months ago and now I am back home for a little while. However, we're facing the prospect of doing it LD again...I dunno about that tho...LDs are HARD...but if u have tha right person, it's worth it...phone bills will be high and eventually car miles will be racked up but it will be worth it!

I talked about this wit somebody once,a nd we decided that it depended on how much we'd get to see each other. If it rare that I'd get to see her, it wouldn't work out. It'd hurt too much.

I'll never do a LD...Im one that loves affection and attention from a guy so I know I would cheat...I couldnt be faithful to a guy I know that is hours aways when there is someone to fill my needs at the moment.

I am doing a long distance relationship right now and the distance is not as great as some but one none the less and have been doing it since my 1st semster freshman year (1 yr and 3 months). So yes I support that type of relationship but only for the strong at heart because the distance can hurt when u can't see the person frequently but I believe distance makes the heart grow fonder. So in any relationship assess what you have and what feelings are there and what may potentially be and make the right decision for you. Much Love to ya all

i'm n a LD rite now(my boo lives a 120 miles away, n Detroit..not that far but still), and its bout ta get much harder when I go away to college, cz I'll be down South n we'll only get to c eachother on vacations. The phone bills and text-messaging charges are starting to rack up, but we love eachother so i'm willing to do it. Its gon take some supertrust tho, cuz from what i hear them Southern boys ain't no JOKE  , and he'll b doin an internship in New York n two years,so then its gon' be DownSouth/New York as opposed to Ohio/Michigan. But we both are abstinent so at least we don't have that problem  "So I put this on my life: Nobody or nothing will EVER come between us..."

^^^its so much easier if both of u are abstinent...the last guy i tried to talk to who lived like an 1hr away....that didnt work...cuz he couldnt see me as much as he wanted and he wasnt getting any so.....but my sister and her bf have been together for about two years....he went to penn state last year and shes still here...theyre doing fine...both of them are virgins....shes moving up there at the end of this month....so if both people are abstinent it does make it alot easier
