This is a poem a friend of mine's wrote, i thought it was great, so i decided to post it up here.Tell me what yall think:
"Little Angel"
When I heard the news,
It hit me out the blue,
No this can't be true.
In a split second my life was changed,
And I knew that I would never be the same.
You were never unwanted,
Just unplanned,
But I'm leaving everything in God's Hands.
I didn’t know how to break the news,
But suddenly I didn’t have to.
My belly began to show
So now everyone knows.
In disbelief they ask,
How I am going to conquer this task.
But it doesn’t matter what anyone else thinks,
Because its me, who has to go through this pain and agony.
With your daddy not by my side,
I cry just about every nite.
Praying to God that he will make everything better,
And asking him how in the world am I going to be a mother.
I don’t know what the future holds for me and you,
But I know that I'll keep one promise true.
You are very loved you see,
Though you are still in me.
Even though people want me to try,
To make the life inside me die,
Don’t worry, baby,
Because you’re Mommy's Little Angel,
Jai'Lah Cherie.
