How do you guys feel about David Stern trying to impose an age minimum to stop all the athletes making the jump from high school to the pros?

It's ridiculous...NBA level talent is NBA talent no matter what age. It's like them putting a height requirement into play.
The main reason for most of these college players is to make it in the league.

Yea I don't really agree with it either. When I first heard of it, I thought it was ridiculous and completely unfair. But after hearing some of the reasoning behind it (trying to improve the quality of play, ensuring that the old timers still have a job), it kind of made more sense. However, I still don't agree with the idea. I don't like how it basically forces aspiring NBAers to go the college route, and everyone knows that college ain't for everyone. If they can play, let 'em play.

I like it. except I think it should be for 19 instead of 20. I think if a player can go to college for one year and still is productive enough to go in the draft then it's cool. Just think about it. If Lebron went and played a year of college hoops he would of still been a first rounder, whereas if somebody like stephen jackson or rashard lewis had went they would of actually gotten more experience on the court and came into the league playing at a lot higher quality. THEN we could look at people like deshawn stevenson and kwame brown who would of went through three to four years of college, matured their game, and came into the league with less pressure, or at least able to handle the pressure better, a better game, just overall as a more mature player. People like those two would of either eventually failed at basketball or improved and been a bigger hit than now. I say they shouldn't let anyone who hasn't played a year of college ball in.
