What's the connections between fraternities/sororities, besides the fact that they are both secret societies? I was doing a lil research and I wanted to know what you all, being members, knew about the ties.

There are other people on this board that you can speak to you on this subject matter from both sides (within The Order and part of their respective frat/soror), however, to put things in a nutshell most fraternities and sororities draw from The Order quite a bit. Much of the ideals, symbolism, as well as other things within our organizations are modeled after the above. If you search this forum i'm sure you'll find something interesting seeing that this has been brought up on several occasions.

The Masonic Family is not a secret society. We are, however, an organization with secrets, thus the priviledge of membership.
