Ok here's my observations on the show: *Why the hell did rockers win most of the awards when hip-hop/r&b makes the money nowadays for MTV. *Was I the only one who found R. Kelly's performance hilarious? Especially when he was imitating Kathy. *Did yall see the looks on Destiny's Child face when those hootchies came out dancing? Michelle's face: priceless. *Ludacris had the best performance. *How the hell did Kelly Clarkson beat Gwen Stefani twice? *Was it me, or did the awards suck **** this year. And I hate it in Miami; I don't like how they build the stage.

lol, i agree about DC. I think Kelly mouthed sumthin like "what r they doin? :???: ". I was like "giiiirrrl...the feeling is mutual". That whole lil dancin segment was so random and yeah, i didn't like the stage set up either

A lot of the rock videos were more creative than the hip hop/r&b ones. We gotta remember that the awards aren't about the songs themselves, but about the video expression of them. And a lot of rap videos are all the same thing these days: the artists walkin around out on the street displaying their jewelry, cars, and any big **** havin women who was willin to participate. And R. Kelly's performance was a damn mess. If people didn't think he was crazy, I know they got to after that shyt.

I saw some of the awards when i was Red Lobster chillin lol. Personally I liked the BET awards better. The R Kelly performance was hilarious to me too Megan. Specially when he started tlakin about people saying other people's names "Chuck said Rufus, Rufus said Chuck, Kathy said Rufus" I was dying lol.... oh yeah I cosign on the rock vs. rap videos. and no... Rap and RnB isn't making as much money as we think. Rappers just flaunt theirs more.

I thought the Game's Dream video was kinda hot. And Eminem's "Mosh" video was hot to.

They may not be making as much money as we think but they're what is played on MTV nine times out of ten. So obviously they get more ratings because they play more hip-hop/ r&b or they wouldn't play them. Which is making them money.
