STOP THE INJUSTICE AT JACKSON STATE

On August 26, 2005, Robert Mack (a 32 year old convicted felon) walked onto campus with a gun and began a dispute with my line brother and teamate Samuel Summerville. Mr. Mack begin to curse and spit at Mr. Summerville and when Mr. Summerville took a step forward, Mr. Mack proceeded to pull a gun on him. Mr. Mack, then went into the campus union. Well, when Mr. Summerville alerted me and my other line brother Mr. Kenneth Hair, we went to the union looking for help. In the union we saw another one of our fraternity brothers, Mr. Benjamin Hart. We then warned Mr. Hart about Mr. Mack and went upstairs to find help. After, getting into a confrontation with Mr. Mack, Mr. Hart then told campus security that Mr. Mack had a gun and they needed to search him. After, Campus police failed to take any action, Mr. Hart and Mr. Mack than began an altercation that went from the bookstore to the lobby of the campus union. After, falling to the floor during his tussle with Mr. Hart, Mr. Mack proceeded to pull his gun out and point it at Mr. Hart who was lying next to him. At that point me and Mr. Hair attempted to dislodge the gun from Mr. Mack's hand, however, we were unsuccessful and Mr. Mack shot Mr. Hart in the chest. However, the school has suspended Mr. Hair and I from school and suspended the Upsilon Epsilon Chapter of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity Inc. from the campus. They have tried to place the blame on us and failed to give us a fair hearing. This injustice can not be ignored and the truth must be heard. All we are asking for is a free trial.

Are you serious. Let me get this straight... A guy (convicted felon) walks onto campus with a weapon. An altercation occurs after campus police fail respond to an alert, and somebody is shot by this man. and you are blamed, suspended as well as the chapter?... WTF!? I need for you to holla at your nationals or an alumni chapter in the area and see if you can get some older heads to plead your case and to exercise your rights as paying students.

gee the way in which u wrote the article makes omegas look like innocent angels anytime an armed man comes loooking for YOU, you know you did something wrong i can't say i'm surprised at all omegas are not gentleman and carry on something ridiculous and childish now i'm not a fan of people getting hurt but when u look for trouble... don't be surprised if it comes with a gun

That's f*cked up.. The man got suspended from school damn... But as far as lawyers it's hard to **** the school because they have immunity when it comes to those types of situations..So there isnt much they(lawyers) could do.

Thats messed up somebody definitely needs to do something!!!!!
