wasup yall?! itz been a minute since ive been on and posted in this area...but imma SENIOR now so itz only right that i start coming through here more often. okay so here are my options at schools im looking at right now. leave some comments on them...
1. Virginia State University
2. Morgan State Univeristy
3. Florida A&M University
4. Bowie State Universirty
my grades werent to good in the past...so im hoping i get into FAMU, i hear is has strong business school, and thats what i want to go to school for (business managment)...wish me luck!!

If you're interested in business, FAMU is an excellent choice. MSU's Graves School of Business is also a well-respected program.
How far do you want to be from home? Baltimore is a quick trip from NY. What's most important to you in your college choice? Holla!

good choices....but dont end up in Temple wit Ashley...................................................................................................................anyway i would say go to FAMU if u wanna do business or temple, they got a good business school (were ranked like in the top something....i forget)

ashley: yeah i know girl itz far!! but i have family there so i will be good...
chris: yeah i know...i dunno if i could go to school with ashley!! thats like going to school with my mother!! lol nah im playing, but i jst want to be on my own for once!!
and last but nor least...
neosoul: yeah i was talking to the director of guidence. and he was talking to me about HBCUs (because he is the only black person in that school who would know about HBCUs)...and he was saying that if i go to an HBCU for business then FAMU is my best bet. and distance really isnt an issue with me, as long as im comfortable and make friends...i wont get home sick!! but yeah if i go to VSU-MSU-BSU its okay, because im still close enough to new york to get home on the weekends and we have a house in maryland where my brother lives...so ill be close to family!! and if i go to FAMU i have family and friends there...so ill be okay

yeah ok so now ive given it some thought and ive changed my college list optionz!!
1. Morgan State (didnt change)
2. Virginia State (didnt change)
3. Temple University (NONE HBCU)
so i got rid of bowie and famu...i did more research on bowie and i realized it wasnt for me!! and well now the more i think about it, famu is kinda far. my parents dont care if i go there, but personally i would be stranded!! my family in florida stays in orlanda and miami...so yall get the idea!!
but i went to temple this weekend and when i got there i was chillen with marcus and ashley...and they were jst showing me around, and i love it there. the thing i like most is the diversity...so i dunno we will see where i get accepted!!

wow Morgan, my mom went there.. its a good school, but since i am from baltimore, i'd hate to have to go there. They hae some real great stuff going on down there. Hope you get in :grin:
