sorry. humility gets you NOWHERE in the music business, monetarily speaking. Mos Def is humble. Mos Def is talented. Mos Def is broke. Mike Jones is not humble. Mike Jones is quasi-talented. Mike Jones is RICH. If Kanye had been a humble preppy rapper, he would never have made the cover of Time magazine. People can't stand his attitude, but they still buy magazines that talk about him, and still buy his records to see what other stupid thing will come out of his mouth. Its all economics. "Ralph Lauren was boring until I wore 'em." Boastful? Perhaps. Do your classmates wear Polo and Lacoste? Sure Do.

I don't understand it. I really don't. You did it again. You simply stated the truth, but then I looked at your picture and suddenly it was the most profound proverb I'd heard all day!
