I have only seen this posting in 2 message boards in the hbcuconnect forums, and I check most of them at least once a week. I've been an on and off member of hbcuconnect for about 9 months. There's finally a thread that catches my attention and interest. It's been 3 months since the last. But that is neither here nor there. I'm a Junior at Florida A&M, and I for one commend the content of the post. That's where the reader's focus should be. We need more like it. I'm glad that ESF posted in the message board to inform young black people of scholarship opportunities that additionally promote self enhancement, humanitarian efforts and career placement. It's great to see that someone stepped to the heavy plate to initiate a pageant system for African American's that is dedicated to providing fair judging, timely execution of scholarships and prizes, endorsed support and REAL promotion of the winner's platforms. Too many crowns go dusty after a pageant ends. I commend organizations, companies and individuals who not 'talk about it' but 'do something about it' and make hard change for improvement. Black pageants deserve to be looked at as respectively as the major white pageants are. To see a prestigious black pageant televised period, and to see one televised EVERY year (as we see miss u.s.a and miss america) will be a first; but will be quite a blessing to experience. As a black person , I'm proud that the Miss Black America U.S.A Pageant is doing it. Whoever posted this information in the message board (which I'm assuming is with the ESF company, THANK YOU. It's about time. Keep up the good work.

This is great. I am very interested in being a part of this pageant system. You can reach me at IAmWonderfullll@yahoo.com . The website looks good. I'm very impressed. I would like to sponsor your fist national pageant through my organizations grant fund. Also, please let me know how I can become a member of and serve on your board of directors. I look forward to being a part of a meaningful, real, and promising African American scholarship pageant system. I can't wait to see the telecast in Las Vegas. God bless.
