Ok I know to learn about organizations you have to read up on the history and stuff but I have a question about the books. Ok I know a lot of Greeks always recommend The Divine Nine book but I was wondering about other books. I was looking on sites and some books say like the Unauthorized History of ABC or XYZ and I was wondering if those are legit books to read. I do not know if greeks can answer this question or not and if not ignore it the question. Thanks!!!

My Gpa is a 3.8 and I am classified as a sophmore after just one semester in college so trust me I am on my academics. I have over 50 hours of community service from just this semester...I'm am not sure if that is considered alot but I can say I do plan to do more.

Then focus on finding the information about interest meetings. No amount of information learned prior will help you while you are online.

Lol yeah Divine Nine is really informative. I have the new black Greek which I lent to my prospect friend and I haven't seen since about a week after I bought it. I kinda skimmed it and it seemed chock full of history... too much history possibly because it goes off on this long tangent about Africa. And it was a weekend so I wasn't in the mood for anything more than casual reading  but um yeah, Divine Nine, Black Greek 101, that new book (I'm mad that I don't even know the title to a book I own, I'm about to call that boy right now!), Google. Life is just easier when you come in with prior knowledge. In short, good luck hon and keep doing what you're doing (school wise) and everything should be fine.

I can't remember the names of the books that I read for other organizations (no offense to the other BGLOs), but "In Search of Sisterhood" is very informative if your interested in DST.

Well LBF, is telling the truth. Those books by "Big" Walt as well as his movie "Pledge Brothers" is the equivalent of you writing a book yourself, with the information you don't have yet.
