For the already greeks

I have a question pertaining to the greek life. My question is is it good to to want to join an organization your Junior or Senior in college and does it make it hard for the greeks to choose them for the intake process? My reason for this question is because I wanted to join a certain organization this semester and I'm a Junior and I heard that its harder and not good to want to join a organization your Junior/Senior year because your about to graduate and it takes away from the Sophomores who want to join the particular organization.

It depends on that particular chapter. There is no yes or no answers as to whether it'll be hard to get on or not because of your classification.
Usually Juniors are ok, but seniors may have a harder time especially if they've been there all 4 years and finally just up and decided to express interest.
If you interest is sincere, and its clear when you grind that you really want it then you should be ok. Afterall, being a member as an undergrad is just a small part of being part of whatever organization. It should be evident that you'll go hard and be an asset to your org long after you walk across that stage.

If I were you, I would try to go for it now and not wait til your senior year. At my school, they only had lines every 2 years so I had to wait til my senior year to participate. It was ok but you don't really get to participate in anything after you cross because your concentrating on graduation.
If you are genuine and truly interested, it doesn't matter when you seek membership into the organization of your choice. Like my Soror said, your focus your Senior year will be on graduating, however, that may sometimes be the only option.
