Fellas... How come yall got problems wit us ladies havin friends that are guys? I told my boyfriend that my friend from high school was comin from detroit back home to do somethin at the radio station here (he's in the music industry). When I told him that I was goin to see him, maybe for dinner or something, he flipped out!! Why is what I wanna kno? Fellas...?

First off, I just need to say how beautiful I think you are. As far as guys having aproblem with a girls guy friends...thats just us being us. We feel threatened by another guy who' snot fam that you're really tight with. Girls feel the same whether they admit it or not about our close female friends. It's not like he doesn't trust you..it's just him being him. You need to be worried when he doesn't have a problem with you going out with another guy for dinner.

I think for most its just insecurity. The thought of someone taking their place doesnt sit well and to fill the void they are feeling. I feel like if you have to trip over their friends, then its a trust issue that you have to deal with.

Just from my own personal experiences, I've had alot more of it come from females than the other way around. Especially if a male has alot of females friends. But that just my experience.

Unless that man finds that female extremely **** a man will always WANT to screw that female. Certain situations and scenarios may give cause for an exemption. If you and dude visiting town have a prior romantic history then your boyfriend may have cause for concern. How would you feel if he was going to dinner with a female that has the same relationship as you and ole dude?

^^^...I couldn't have said it better. It's not like you're going to meet up with somebody for a project or something, you guys have a tight relationship and that makes him more of a threat.

if you feel like other dudes are threats to yours, then you shouldn't be in that relationship. Because another dude can be breakin her off and you NOT know about it, so whats the difference that she ASKED/TOLD you about her friend-guy coming into town this time? I'm a very confident person, so if the person i am with shows signs of flocking to another nest, she will sure enough get her tailfeathers out of mine. On that note, here's another spinoff to the question.... If yawl were married....why would your wife possibly need to meet with her ex for? besides collectin some child support of course

Because all guys think the same. Your friend wants to sleep with you. Don't try to delude yourself into thinking that he's "Different" or that ya'll are "Like Family" No, he wants to do naughty things to you. If you give him the opportunity, he would take it without hesitation. Your boyfriend is jealous because he knows that your friend is a typical guy. Look at it from his point of view. He's gonna be at home playing X-Box while his girl is going out to DINNER and SPENDING TIME with another man that is not family, or him. He has reason to be concerned.

while I disagree that all males are the same, you do have a point about why the male would be against it. It goes both ways. Tell a female that you're goin out to dinner with your ex, she might go into labor hearing that. But if you trust them that much then you gotta have faith in them that they can control themselves. If not the relationship is pointless.
