So this dude doesn't want a girl friend..... But he claimed he has his phase of wanting a gf not too long ago, but now he feels different....... Think he'll come around if we keep seeing each other....?? Or let it go..... Share similar experiences if you can...

Are you serious? I mean. . . . you actually believe that he's in a "phase"? Guys are not like girls, we dont' worry about our emotions. We don't have "phases" We either do or we don't If he can still have you AND date other girls; why in the HELL would he get into a committment? Why buy the cow when the milk is free?

I'd have to disagree with that. I mean that statement can't be made universally for all males. Males have feelings and emotions just like females, and not all choose to ignore them. Now as to the man not being able to make up his mind or wanting you to wait around for his "I want a gf" phase to come back around, thats for da birds!!! If he can't make up his mind, let him come to terms with his decision without you.

That's what dude above me just said. either a guy does or doesn't want a girlfriend atthe moment. We don't have friggin cycles. You're right, he needs to come to that realization without her.

^^^...So you're tryin to say that men go through similar if not the safe emotional phases as women in wanting a relationship. I feel what you're sayin as far as being tired of talkin to a bunch of women, and wanting to try something different. That's not a phase. To me a phase suggests feelings over which you really have no control. It's like saying if the mood strikes me as right, I'll think about getting a girl. What you did was a conscious decision to commit yourself to one woman.

Have you ever messed with a female liked her and all, but just didn't want her as a girlfriend??

Honestly, I can't say that I have. It's always been where I wasn't looking for a girl friend, but me and this person started to really click. It got to the point where I did see her in a more romantic way, and began to want more than just friendship.

Why is there any question after that? If he wants you then he'll show you. If you want something with him DO NOT give up any ****. Once you give up **** outside of a relationship with a guy who says he doesn't want a girlfriend you will never be his girlfriend.
