Single or Double??

Which would you recommend, a single room or a double room? What are the pros/cons of both? Any personal experiences, i.e. with roommates (doubles) or isolation (singles)?

It depends on ya personality boss. If you don't mind having somebody around most of the time, then you're straight. If you like your privacy, then maybe you wanna think about having a single.

you run the risk of either having a roommate from heaven or one from hell
with a single
it could be harder for you to really socialize
but on the other hand, you can hanky panky anytime u want
i'd say double.
especially for new freshman on campus cuz your roomate's sposed to be your first campus buddy, and when you don't have one (like me, i've lived in a double by myself since the beginning of the year), and you don't know anybody at the beginning of the year, it can be kinda tough.

hmmm... are u freshmen? If so go with the Double. Its a growing experience to have a roommate. Plus, it doubles the connections you'll make in college. Cus if y'all are cool his/her friends will become yours as well.
there are always pluses but you sacrifice your privacy but you'll definitely appreciate it once you get it again.

Man I don't know Im think Im going to have to say single...Roomates can be He*l and trust me I had one straight from there. It was sooo horrible she was broke and busted it was just HORRIBLE. When she first got here I tried to help her out because I knew she was poor and stuff so like if we all went out to eat I'd try to help her so she wouldn't feel left out or whatever but it was soo horrible I can't even put it in words. For one her boyfriend went to another school and she would sit on the phone crying and stuff til 7 in the morning because he was cheating then she would cry cuz he would never call. Then she had NO FRIENDS no one liked her because sad to say but she was busted and so she NEVER left the room. and then like when she got one friend she used to come in like at 3 in the morning turn on the lights, tv, radio and stuff then just leave. Then I bought everything...computer, phones, tv, vcr, fridge...all she bought was a dang coffee pot and she was ALWAYS using my stuff and like if i had drinks I honestly didnt mind her getting one but if she had people over she would be like "hey yall want some drinks"... she was always on my computer till i locked her off of it because when she got a refund instead of her buying one she spent all her money on her man. What bothered me the most is the fact that its someone always there...its like they can come in anytime they want you have no privacy...maybe its just me but I can't do the roomate thing I HATED it but good luck!!

That's crazy...I hope and pray that my roommate experience is betta...
