Litigation Paralegal (JN -102024-381202)

Belleville, Illinois, law firm has an immediate opening for a Litigation Paralegal with 3-5 years of experience, preferably in a defense firm. No remote work. Hours are Monday through Friday, 8:30am to 5:00pm. No billable hour requirement. Paralegal Certificate is a plus but not required.

Compensation: $48K to $60K/year plus standard benefits, out of pocket for employee is very minimal. Starts 1 month after hire on the first of the month. 401K. 5 sick days, depending on hire date it can be prorated. Will receive two weeks of paid vacation after one year of employment.

Duties include:

  • Requesting and summarizing medical records
  • Summarizing depositions
  • Trial preparation
  • Calendaring
  • Discovery
  • E-filing
  • A to Z case management
