Accounting Assistant
Location: Livermore - 100% on-site
Duration: temp to hire
Pay: $23-25/hour
Hours: Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM

Position Overview

Ledgent Finance & Accounting's client is seeking an Accounting Assistant to join their team in California. This role is a dynamic position that involves managing various accounting tasks, including accounts payable and billing, along with clerical responsibilities. The position is based onsite in Livermore, offering a great opportunity to be a part of a thriving construction company.

Responsibilities

  • Manage Paycom database of all new hire onboarding paperwork, including data entry, reference checks, E-Verify, background or drug tests (as required), and immigration compliance with I-9 documents.
  • Assist with compiling timecard information for payroll processing.
  • Arrange meetings, compile reports, compose letters/VOEs, and handle special projects as directed.
  • Handle a high volume of inbound telephone calls and emails.
  • Administer benefits and open enrollment.
  • Support all onboarding functions.
  • Required Work Hours

Additional Details

The position is a temp-to-hire role with a competitive hourly pay range of $24.00 - $25.00.
