Job Title: AS400 COBOL Programmer
Location: 100% onsite nearby Westminster, CA
Employment Type: Temp-to-hire
Compensation: $45.00 to 64.50 per hour (based on experience)

Partnered with a client who specializes in automotive technology who's a leader and among the largest automotive parts supplier in the world.


They are seeking a PROGRAMMER (AS400, Cobol) for development of user applications, bug fixes, modification/enhancements to existing functions, testing, system documentation, and ad-hoc data gathering/queries.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of system design/programming experience with COBOL on the AS400 platform. ONE must be current and the other can be less but within the past 10 years.
  • Tech environment: iSeries, AS400, AIX, Linux, Windows // DB2, SQL Server, MySQL or similar RDBMS // COBOL, RPG, CL
  • Utilize complex computer operations and advanced features of software packages
  • Deal with a variety of abstract and concrete variables.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience and demonstrated skills
