Key Responsibilities

• Support the team with the processing of loan closing documents
• Gather and verify all necessary documentation from loan applicants
• Organize information in accordance with the processes in place, prepare the loan application for review
• Work closely with lenders and credit team on analysis of documents and credit worthiness
• Reconciliation, auditing of information, and accounting support

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of recent experience in a loan processing or loan preparation position with a banking or credit institution
• Experience with Horizon FIS lending software is preferred but not required
• Analytical skills, critical thinking, and strong attention to detail required
• Must have excellent communication and follow-up skills

Compensation and Schedule

• This is a contract position, expected to last 3 to 6 months
• This is a full time, in-person position, hours are 8:30 to 5 pm
• Compensation for this position is about $26/hr depending on experience
• Position is located in Baltimore City with discounted parking rates available
