This position focuses on assisting with routine monitoring activities, ensuring that service providers are adhering to program requirements, and tracking the performance of contracts in a fast-paced work environment.</p></span> <br> <br> <span id="MainContent_bold12" class="font-weight-bold">Overview: </span> <span id="MainContent_Overview"><br><br></span> <br> <span id="bold5" class="font-weight-bold">Duties: </span> <span id="MainContent_Duties"><br><br><ul><li>Assists in monitoring the performance of homeless service providers to ensure they meet contractual requirements and follow regulatory guidelines.</li><li>Helps track service delivery and program outcomes under the supervision of the Homeless Services Supervisor through weekly, monthly, and annual monitoring.</li><li>Supports Program Monitor II with on-site visits and Housing Quality Standard inspections. Observes program implementation and collects necessary documentation for compliance purposes.</li><li>Assists in preparing reports on program performance, compliance, and any corrective actions noted during routine monitoring.</li><li>Organizes and maintains records related to program monitoring.</li><li>Support in tracking compliance of federal, state, and local regulations.</li><li>Follows up with service providers on program recommendations and deficiencies.</li><li>Prepares and maintains a database of compliance status and upcoming deadlines.</li><li>Attends DHS provider meetings and serves as a point of contact for service providers to help resolve basic issues related to Director’s Action Line complaints, program terminations and exits, incident reports, facilitation of termination appeal hearings, and technical assistance.</li><li>Performs related duties/special projects as requested by the Supervisor, Homeless and Housing Services. </li></ul></span> <br> <span id="bold6" class="font-weight-bold">Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities </span> <span id="MainContent_KSA"><br><br></span> <span id="bold7" class="font-weight-bold">Knowledge of: </span> <span id="MainContent_Knowledgeof"><br><br><ul><li>Federal, state, and local regulations related to homelessness programs.</li></ul></span> <br> <span id="bold9" class="font-weight-bold">Skill in: </span> <span id="MainContent_Skills"><br><br><ul><li>Microsoft Office Suite. </li></ul></span> <br> <span id="bold8" class="font-weight-bold">Ability to: </span> <span id="MainContent_Abilityto"><br><br><ul><li>Display strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy.</li><li>Demonstrate strong organizational and time management skills.</li><li>Communicate effectively both orally and in writing.</li><li>Be a team player and show strong interpersonal skills.</li><li>Be compassionate and committed to social services and the mission to assist homeless populations. </li></ul></span> <br> <span id="bold10" class="font-weight-bold">Residency: </span> <span id="MainContent_Residency">Allegheny County within 1 year.</span> <br> <span id="bold11" class=" font-weight-bold">Veterans' Preference: </span> <span id="MainContent_VeteransPreference">Will be awarded to eligible candidates.</span> <br> <div id="Needtocenterandbold" class=" text-md-center font-weight-bold"> AN EQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYER - M/F/V/D </div> <br> <br> <div id="Needtocenterandbold2" class=" text-md-center font-weight-bold"> <a href="https://apps.alleghenycounty.us/HRJobApplication/firstpage.aspx?id=2938" id="MainContent_Applyonline">Apply Online</a> </div> </div> <br> <br> <br> </div>
