Preference will be given to applicants who present evidence of excellence in teaching and those who through education and experience demonstrate ability to teach across multiple Computer Science and Information Technology disciplines. </span></p><br><br><strong style="color: inherit;font-style: normal;text-align: left;text-indent: 0.0px;">Adjunct Level 1 - $1,085 per credit hour.</strong><br><br>Campus Locations: Essex, Dundalk, Catonsville &amp; Owings Mills</dd>
<dt><h2>Minimum Requirements</h2></dt>
<dd><p></p><p style="margin: 0.0in;margin-left: 0.5in;"><span style="color: inherit;">Required:</span></p><ul style="margin-left: 0.25in;margin-bottom: 3.0pt;"><li><span style="color: inherit;">Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field. (unofficial transcripts required with application)</span></li><li><span style="color: inherit;">Two years teaching experience in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.</span></li><li><span style="color: inherit;">Excellent verbal and written communication skills.</span></li></ul><p style="margin: 0.0in;margin-left: 0.5in;"><span style="color: inherit;">Preferred:</span></p><ul style="margin-left: 0.25in;margin-bottom: 3.0pt;"><li><span style="color: inherit;">Work experience as a computer professional</span></li><li>Related IT certifications</li></ul></dd>
<dt><h2>Class Specific Essential Duties</h2></dt>
<dd><p></p><ul style="margin-bottom: 3.0pt;"><li><span style="color: inherit;">Teach assigned Computer Science/Information Technology (CSIT) courses in accordance with learning objectives and common course outlines of the college.</span></li><li><span style="color: inherit;">Mentor students and contributes to the success of the Computer Science/Information Technology program.</span></li><li><span style="color: inherit;">Support the community college philosophy through commitment to success of students with diverse goals, backgrounds and learning styles.</span></li><li><span style="color: inherit;">Commitment to the mission of the community college.</span></li><li><span style="color: inherit;">Perform related duties as required.</span></li><li><span style="color: inherit;">Maintain currency in field(s) through professional development and scholarly activities</span>.</li></ul></dd>
