<dt><h2>Class Description</h2></dt>
<dd><p></p><p style="margin: 0 0 0 0.5in;"><span style="color: inherit;">Seeking an individual able to teach a variety of cybersecurity and digital forensics courses in the Networking Department of the School of Business, Technology and Law. Full load of instruction in the fall and spring semesters, college and community service, student advising, departmental support and ongoing professional development are required. The position may involve teaching classes at multiple campuses scheduled during days, evenings, or weekends. Preferred candidates are enthusiastic about content and pedagogy, use best teaching practices, and are committed to hands-on student learning. <dt><h2>Minimum Requirements</h2></dt>
<dd><p></p><p style="margin: 0 0 8pt 0.5in"><u><span style="color: inherit">Education Requirements</span></u></p><p style="margin: 0 0 8pt 0.5in"><span style="color: inherit">Master's Degree required in Cybersecurity or related field.  </span></p><p style="margin: 0 0 8pt 0.5in"><u><span style="color: inherit">Industry Experience</span></u></p><p style="margin: 0 0 8pt 0.5in"><span style="color: inherit">Two years of related industry experience in this field.</span></p><p style="margin: 0 0 8pt 0.5in"><u><span style="color: inherit">Teaching Requirements</span></u></p><p style="margin: 0 0 8pt 0.5in"><span style="color: inherit">Two years of full-time college level teaching experience in the discipline is preferred. Four years of adjunct instruction in the discipline will be considered. Online teaching experience Is preferred.</span></p></dd>
<dt><h2>Class Specific Essential Duties</h2></dt>
<dd><p></p><ol style="margin-left: 0.5in; margin-bottom: 3pt"><li><span style="color: inherit">Facilitate and support student learning by developing and providing clear and effective instruction using traditional and technology-based instruction.</span></li><li><span style="color: inherit">The position is located on one of CCBC’s campuses but may require teaching classes at other locations scheduled during days, evenings, or weekends.</span></li><li><span style="color: inherit"> Meet all classes as assigned during instructional periods.</span></li><li><span style="color: inherit">Communicate effectively with students by disseminating academic information including syllabi and academic policies and by responding to e-mails and phone calls from students promptly. </span></li><li><span style="color: inherit">Provide program-related student advising.</span></li><li><span style="color: inherit">Conduct required office hours per college policy.</span></li><li><span style="color: inherit">Provide effective and appropriate assessment with prompt qualitative and quantitative feedback. </span></li><li><span style="color: inherit">Keep instructional materials and student work organized and accessible.</span></li><li><span style="color: inherit">Maintain Learning Management System (e.g. Brightspace) site, providing students access to syllabi, grades, and other supplemental course material.</span></li><li><span style="color: inherit">Support students and other college units and comply with relevant state and federal laws. </span></li><li><span style="color: inherit">Collaborate with colleagues in ongoing curricular development including content update, curricular alignment, consistent assessment practices and record keeping.</span></li><li><span style="color: inherit">Collaborate with staff by completing and submitting reports and documentation in a timely manner. </span></li><li><span style="color: inherit">Attend and participate in committee, departmental, College and School meetings.</span></li><li><span style="color: inherit">Provide College and Community Service through collegial and individual initiatives.</span></li><li><span style="color: inherit">Maintain and develop professional expertise through ongoing professional development or scholarship, including maintaining industry certifications. </span></li></ol></dd>
