Location Augusta University Our Health Sciences Campus: 1120 15th Street, Augusta, GA 30912 Our Summerville Campus: 2500 Walton Way, Augusta, GA 30904 College/Department Information The Supply Management Division goals are to provide a comprehensive, fully integrated supply management program that provides quality, cost effective and timely services through a well-trained, professional staff and technical resources, to meet current and future needs of Augusta University. Job Summary The position will provide logistical support at Augusta University by moving surplus property from locations all over campus to the warehouse for processing. This position will also deliver requested surplus items from the warehouse to departments all over campus. In addition, this position will assist warehouse staff with inventory, tagging, property disposal, and warehouse cleaning and management as needed. Responsibilities The responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Surplus Property Process surplus pick up requests daily as scheduled or as requested. Process surplus delivery requests daily as scheduled or as requested. Notate and sign all appropriate logistics documentation for transfers. Ensure documentation for all daily activity is complete, accurate and submitted to supervisor daily. Operate all Logistics & Property vehicles and equipment in a safe manner. Report any equipment accidents or problems to supervising authority immediately. Property/Inventory Control Place all surplus and storage items in correct area in storage locations as indicated by Inventory Control As property is delivered to warehouse locations, validate paperwork with Inventory Control staff to ensure property is handled accurately. Assist Inventory Control staff with inventory, tagging and warehouse activities as needed. Place all surplus and storage items in correct storage locations. Surplus Show surplus property as needed by departments. Ensure Augusta University departments and staff have adequate access to surplus storage areas as needed to view and obtain surplus property. All other related duties/tasks as assigned. Required Qualifications Educational Requirements High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent from a recognized State or Federal accrediting organization and at least, one year of experience in a related field. Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities ABILITIES Ability to maintain confidentiality, to provide excellent customer service and achieve department and organizational goals Ability to lift heavy furniture, climb stairs, drive, read, write, and correspond via email for scheduling Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills General knowledge of moving techniques/skills, Asset Management and Supply Management Proficient in Microsoft Office and other computer software/databases Skills needed for warehouse operations: use a forklift, pallet jacks, carts, etc. Knowledge of Materials Management and moving Logistical experience Must possess a Valid Driver's License with a clean driving history Shift/Salary/Benefits Shift: Days/M-F Pay Band: 2 Salary Minimum: $15.77/hour - $16.66/hour Salary to be commensurate with qualifications of the selected candidate within the established range (generally minimum-midpoint) of the position Recruitment Period: 2/5/26 - Until Filled Augusta University offers a variety of benefits to full-time benefits-eligible employees and some of our half-time (or more) employees.
