Focus is more on root cause Project Manager (Process Improvement & Issues Management)This role provides change management project support for the Mortgage Servicing business, with a primary focus on process improvement and issues management (not a technology/Agile delivery role). The Project Manager partners closely with business leaders, technology, risk and control partners to identify and assess emerging risks and issues across Mortgage Servicing processes, systems, and ownership areas, translating findings into clear remediation plans and ensuring timely execution through closureincluding customer redress when applicable. The position applies expert-level project management discipline to lead large, high-complexity initiatives from initiation through completion, maintaining alignment to scope, timeline, budget, and quality expectations while navigating a matrixed environment. The individual is recognized as a subject matter expert who interprets internal and external issues, recommends best practices, improves workflows/methodologies, and establishes controls, metrics, and reporting that increase delivery efficiency and compliance outcomes. Work is typically independent and self-directed, with guidance required only for the most complex situations, and may include coordinating functional teams and multiple interrelated projects, including business transformation efforts. analysis, process improvement and risk.
