Senior Medical Assistants/MA-C - Orthopedic at Swedish Medical Group

Full-Time

Senior Medical Assistants/MA-C are MAs with over 2 years of experience (6 months at a BRAND clinic). In addition to standard MA responsibilities like helping with administrative and clinical tasks, youll take on a leadership role and help guide clinic operations and counsel Associate Medical Assistants beginning their careers. After a year of service as a Senior Medical Assistant, and a MA-C designation, youll be eligible for a Lead MA promotion and additional leadership responsibilities.

Required Qualifications:

  • Coursework/Training: Graduate of accredited school for medical assistants, or
  • Coursework/Training: Graduate of a registered medical assistant apprenticeship program, or
  • Coursework/Training: Has completed two years of medical training in the United States Armed Forces.
  • Washington Medical Assistant Certification upon hire.
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association within 30 days of hire.
  • 2 years of Medical assisting experience in a clinic setting.
  • 2 years of experience providing a high level of customer service in a fast-paced environment, including handling confidential data with discretion.
  • 6 months of working experience in a PSJH clinic within the last 3 years.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • National Medical Assistant Certification upon hire.
