Job Summary: Under the general supervision of the Executive Director and Associate Director, the Equity & Compliance Coordinator provides day-to-day administrative and operational support for the Office of Institutional Equity & Compliance, including administrative coordination of hearings conducted under the CSU Nondiscrimination Policy. The position performs a variety of administrative and technical duties requiring working knowledge of departmental procedures and compliance requirements. Responsibilities: Confidential Grievance and Confidential Civil-Rights & Investigation Support: Relations Policy procedures; draft written communications that safeguard bargaining-unit rights while protecting management interests. during intakes/interviews; create trauma-informed summaries and evidence matrices for investigators and counsel. and Whistleblower reports. Requests CBA grievance complaints, outcomes, and personal files from Faculty Affairs and Development and/or Employee Labor and Relations. CBA grievances submitted to IEC. needed. Administrative & Title IX/DHR Program Operations Minimum Qualifications: Required Education and Experience Equivalent to a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Public Administration, or related field. A minimum of two years of progressively responsible administrative work experience. Required Knowledge, skills, and Abilities: environment. Preferred Qualifications: matters requiring discretion. Compensation and Benefits: Anticipated Hiring Range: minimum $4,687 - maximum $6,250 monthly. The salary offered will take into account internal equity and experience among other factors. The CSU system provides a comprehensive benefit package that includes medical, dental and vision plans, membership in the California Public Employees Retirement System (CalPERS), sick and vacation time, and 15 paid holidays a year. Position Information: Work status: Full-time/Exempt/Probationary Academic year schedule: Monday through Friday (8:00 am - 5:00 pm), some evenings/weekends. Summer schedule: Monday through Thursday (7:00 am - 5:30 pm), some evenings/weekends. Application deadline has been extended. The first review of applications will begin on February 24, 2026.
