Postdoctoral Research FellowHow to ApplyInterested applicants can send CV and the names of three references directly to Dr. Xing Fan by email ([email protected]) or mail to the following address: Xing Fan, M.D., Ph.D. Job SummaryA postdoctoral position is available immediately for outstanding individuals to participate in research studying the biological function of cancer stem cells in brain tumors (glioma and medulloblastoma) and the signal pathways that regulate such cells. Responsibilities*Projects will be involved in developing new therapies for malignant brain tumors and studying how signaling pathways or genes regulate brain cancer stem cells using human primary tumor xenograft and transgenic mouse brain tumor models. This research will be a collaborative effort among the Department of Neurosurgery, Cell and Developmental Biology, and the Comprehensive Cancer Center at the University of Michigan, and provides an excellent opportunity for training and career development.
