Detailed Description: This is a full-time temporary, benefit-based position with an anticipated end date of June 30, 2027. The appointment is renewable at the discretion of the University and dependent upon performance and continued funding. The Program Coordinator will provide support to the San Diego Regional Climate Collaborative's (SDRCC) programs, projects and research. The Program Coordinator will report to the Director and will be responsible for supporting SDRCC's projects, programs and staff efforts that advance San Diego's leadership in climate resilience solutions. The Program Coordinator will provide capacity needed to fulfill projects, contracts, and program commitments across SDRCC's Resilience and Energy programs. The Coordinator will specifically provide capacity support to the growing portfolio of research projects including in extreme heat, coastal resilience, and community engagement. They will support SDRCC's membership engagement by participating and providing staff support at core program events, workshops, and through other project-based outreach opportunities. The San Diego Regional Climate Collaborative (SDRCC) advances climate change solutions and expertise across the San Diego Region. The University of San Diego serves as Fiscal Sponsor for the SDRCC which is currently housed in the Office of the Provost.
