Experienced Tool & Die Maker – High Impact Troubleshooting + Shift Premium (2nd Shift, LaFayette, GA) Shift: 2nd (2:45pm–11:15pm) If you’re a hands on problem solver who loves stamping die challenges, this 2nd shift Tool & Die Maker role puts your skills front and center—supporting uptime, quality, and tooling performance.<h2></h2><h2>Position</h2>Tool & Die Maker - 2nd Shift - $1,500 Sign-On Retention Bonus!<h2></h2><h2>Location</h2>USA, LaFayette, GA<h2>How You'll Create Possibilities</h2>What You’ll Do<ul><li>Troubleshoot and repair dies in press during production</li><li>Maintain and rebuild stamping dies, tooling, and components</li><li>Polish draw dies to reduce friction and improve part quality</li><li>Run manual & CNC machining equipment and EDM</li><li>Install, adjust, and optimize die performance</li><li>Inspect finished work for accuracy, smoothness, and contour</li><li>Communicate across shifts to ensure continuity</li><li>Complete PM sheets and maintain safety & 5S standards</li></ul><h2>What You'll Bring to Our Team</h2>What You Bring<ul><li>2+ years of stamping die repair or die making</li><li>Ability to interpret technical drawings, prints, and die designs</li><li>Machining experience (grinding, milling, turning)</li><li>Strong troubleshooting under pressure</li><li>Understanding of modern press & stamping principles </li></ul>Bonus:<ul><li>CAD/CAM, CNC machining, ProtoTrak, Wire EDM, apprenticeship training </li></ul>Also looking for the following capabilities / qualifications in addition to tooling <ul><li>Set up and operate Wire EDM machines to cut precision parts according to engineering drawings and specifications</li><li>Program or edit programs using machine controls or CAM software as needed</li></ul><ul><li>2+ years of Wire EDM machining experience in a manufacturing or tool & die environment</li><li>Experience with precision machining and tight tolerances</li><li>Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and GD&T</li><li>Familiarity with CAM programming or EDM machine controls is a plus</li></ul> Why This Shift Works for You<ul><li>Competitive base wage + shift premium</li><li>Day‑1 benefits</li><li>PTO, attendance bonuses, performance bonuses</li><li>Tuition assistance</li><li>Long‑term growth in a skilled trade</li><li>Appliance discounts</li></ul><h2>Our Culture</h2>Our work is centered on our People and Culture as reflected in our Zero Distance philosophy and we recognize the importance of reaffirming our commitment to inclusion and diversity (I&D).
