Team/Position Summary: The Internal Communications team at Nintendo of America (NOA) coordinates internal employee communications across a variety of areas with the goal of helping NOA teams communicate as effectively as possible throughout the organization.

The CONTRACT - Sr Communications Specialist will support the execution of corporate communications activities, with a primary focus on internal communications, ensuring NOA’s priorities, decisions, and initiatives are clearly shared with and understood by all employees, and aligned with broader corporate messaging. Position will also be responsible for project managing complex internal company activities with multiple stakeholders, including all-company meetings.   

DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES

  • Project manages and drives complex multi-month events with numerous stakeholders, including the annual all-company meeting
  • Manages and drives executive communications message creation for key internal and external stakeholders and initiatives
  • Crafts creative written and visual content—including ideation and development—for various Nintendo brand experience touchpoints, internal business meetings and events, and product and content messaging campaigns
  • Develops compelling narratives that help connect divisional priorities to department and team tactical imperatives through simple, powerful, and compelling stories
  • Works cross-departmentally, balancing the needs of stakeholders and ensuring consistency with Nintendo’s philosophy, acting as a point of contact and liaison to other departments to support internal business priorities
  • Partners with others in Internal Communications to create and offer editorial oversight of leadership-oriented internal communications messaging, including engagement with the company internal website and related internal messaging tools
  • Supports the creation and editorial review of Q&As as needed for internal and external leadership engagement points

SUMMARY OF REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum of five years content creation and digital production experience
  • Advanced creative writing and editorial abilities
  • Strong understanding of and experience with Adobe Creative Suite design tools
  • Robust ability and experience managing and executing cross-departmental projects
  • Proficient PC skills (Microsoft Office required, with high proficiency in presentation design software)
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft SharePoint, Teams, and Stream
  • Undergraduate B.A. in English, Communications, or related/equivalent field

This position is hybrid in Redmond, WA. Hybrid positions require regular onsite work following the schedule and guidelines for their division. This position is not open to fully remote status at this time.

 

This contract position includes the base pay range listed below and is eligible for benefits through the employing agency. Agency benefits include eligibility for medical insurance, employee assistance program, and paid sick leave. All benefits are subject to elections, eligibility requirements, plan and program terms. Benefits offerings will be confirmed at the time of offer by the employing agency, and may differ depending on the employing agency partner.
