Job SummaryThe Director at the University of Michigan-Flint?s Early Childhood Development Center, in collaboration with Center staff and participating families, provides an early childcare and education program that supports excellence in learning. The Director is responsible for assuring that the program?s curriculum and teaching are carried out in accordance with the Center?s philosophy while being fiscally responsible. The Director provides support and guidance in documentation for Child Care Licensing, Great Start to Quality, and, and provides supervision and mentorship for staff working with children. In addition, the Director will supervise all aspects of the program to provide a high-quality, Reggio Emilia inspired program for young children, along with college students, faculty, staff, and the community. The Director reports to the Dean of the College of Arts, Sciences & Education (CASE) or their designated person. ResponsibilitiesProgrammatic Direction

Onsite is defined as a designated U-M owned or leased work location within or outside of the State of Michigan.
