PIV Technicians are responsible for maintaining and repairing industrial vehicles and material‑handling equipment that keep our facility moving and our teams productive. Openings for 1st and 3rd Shifts 1st Shift 6:00am-2:00 pm 1st Shift 8:00am-4:00pm 3rd Shift 10:00pm-6:00am<h2></h2><h2>Position</h2>Powered Industrial Vehicle Technician<h2></h2><h2>Location</h2>USA, LaFayette, GA<h2>How You'll Create Possibilities</h2>Diagnostic & Repair, Preventative Maintenance, Inspections, Records, Customer Service<ul><li>Proficient in identifying & repairing mechanical, electrical, fuel, hydraulic, and charging system problems on PIV equipment</li><li>Competence in performing routine preventive inspections such as oil changes, filter changes, fluid level check, battery maintenance, charging, and lubrication of roller and pivot points</li><li>Competence in performing safety inspections and tests to ensure the PIV meets all safety requirements and operates properly before being released to operator/driver</li><li>Able to maintain accurate records and documentation of all maintenance and repairs performed</li><li>Able to effectively communicate with customers, team members, and leadership</li></ul>Education & Experience<ul><li>High school diploma or GED – required</li><li>Technical training in automotive field a plus</li><li>Technical training in electrical & mechanical fields a plus</li><li>Two or more years’ experience in diagnostic, maintenance and repair of PIV’s</li></ul>Technical skills<ul><li>Competence in vehicle brake systems, tire & wheel changes, vehicle charging systems, vehicle fuel systems, vehicle operation</li><li>Willing to attend training for skill growth</li></ul>Physical requirements<ul><li>Able to perform heavy work requiring exerting force at high levels</li><li>Able to repeatedly stoop, kneel, bend, climb on, and climb beneath PIVs for diagnostics, repair, and maintenance</li></ul><h2>What You'll Bring to Our Team</h2>Working Conditions<ul><li>Normal work hours are Monday through Friday</li><li>Overtime may be required periodically</li><li>Some work will be performed in the hyster repair shop</li><li>Some work will be performed in the manufacturing facility</li><li>Some work will be done outdoors</li><li>All work will be performed requiring steel toes, safety glasses, and additional required PPE</li></ul><h2>Our Culture</h2>Our work is centered on our People and Culture as reflected in our Zero Distance philosophy and we recognize the importance of reaffirming our commitment to inclusion and diversity (I&D).
