Lead end-to-end structure determination of challenging targets using single-particle Cryo-EM, including sample optimization, grid preparation, data collection, processing, and structural analysis. Partner with protein scientists, biophysicists, and experts in protein NMR and X-ray crystallography to implement an integrated structural biology strategy. Design and implement innovative approaches for the expression, purification, and characterization of membrane proteins for Cryo-EM based structure determination. Clearly communicate structural findings and insights to project teams, contributing to data-driven decision-making for structure-based drug design in a timely manner. Contribute to the scientific leadership of the group by mentoring junior scientists, participating in strategic planning, and implementing impactful new technologies and techniques. Stay at the forefront of the field by publishing high-impact research papers, attending and presenting at scientific conferences, and establishing academic collaborations with key opinion leaders.</p><p></p><p><b>Requirements:</b> Employer will accept a Ph.D. degree in Biochemistry, Structural Biology, Molecular Biology, Pharmacology or related field and 1 year of experience in the job offered or in a Senior Scientist, Cryo-Electron Microscope (Cryo-EM)- related occupation.  </p><p></p><p><span><span>Johnson &amp; Johnson is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
