Job Description

TheManager, SiteProcurementLeadis responsible formanaging the entire procurement process, from strategic sourcing to contracting, ensuring detailed execution aligned with category strategic visionfor the sterile filling Waco, TX manufacturing site.This role focuses on overseeing supplierselectionand management,maintainingcompliance with procurement policies, and executing tactical processes for supplier diversity and sustainability.

Major Responsibilities:

  • Manage activities from strategic sourcing to contracting, ensuring effective and detailed execution, including alignment with defined category strategic vision.

  • Maintain compliance with procurement policy andfulfillsbusiness requirements of supplier diversity and sustainability, executing tactical processes to create value.

  • Drive supplier management andensuresalignment to SRM strategy asdeterminedby Procurement Lead and Category Managers, fostering a collaborative and innovative approach to supplier interactions.

  • Implement risk mitigation plans developed in collaboration with Category Managers, providing tactical input on supplier performance and relaying the identification of procurement risks to safeguard the organizations interest andmaintainoperational resilience.

  • Maintain excellence in all contract execution activities including source to contract and requisition to pay, owning the implementation of strategies toidentifyinefficiencies in process design and execution.

  • Enable savings and assurance of supply, manage savings leakage across downstream procurement processes

  • Administer continuous improvement projectsinitiatedby the PSC team, embracing and furthering a spirit of adaptability and innovation in procurement operations.

  • Lead and nurture a team of Specialists, setting ambitious performance targets, providing tailored coaching, and evaluating team performance.

  • Partner with PSC leaders and business partners to define skillsets, workforce requirements, capability needs, and long-term organizational staffing goals.


Qualifications

  • Specific and tacticalexpertisein implementing procurement processes, including source-to-contract planning and cost assessment, ensuring strategic and informed procurement decisions.

  • Strong experience in the respective category area, with familiarity tailoring processes to meet category needs.

  • Ability to manage the bidding and negotiation processes, with adept ability to implement complex long-term projects with a focus on creating effective supplier relationships.

  • Strong capacity and experience managing collaborative supplier relationships, aligning procurement activities with business needs.

  • Innovative problem-solving skills combined with a solution-oriented mindset, enabling creative approaches and influential communication at all organizational levels.

  • High cross-functional collaboration abilities and teamwork skills, effectively navigating and coordinating diverse team dynamics.

  • Strong soft skills and emotional intelligence,facilitatingempathetic interactions, effective communication, and robust relationship-building.

  • Impactful executive functioning abilities and autonomous work ethic,maintainingefficient performance in challenging situations and building consensus in decision-making.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Supply ChainMgmtor related field.

  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in procurement, supply chain, or related business or operations function.

  • Previousexperience managing teams and comprehensive understanding of procurement operations.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills.

  • Knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry is preferred.
