Simulation Logistics Program Assistant (Contract) <span style="font-family: Arial"><h2 style="text-align: center">Simulation Logistics Program Assistant (Contract)</h2><h3 style="text-align: center">Office of Workforce Development</h3><p style="text-align: center"><strong>School of Social Work</strong></p><p style="text-align: center"><strong>University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign</strong></p><p style="text-align: center"> </p><p style="text-align: center"><em>Located in Chicago, Illinois</em></p><br><h4>Job Summary</h4>Provide technical support, organization, and assistance with classroom management and the ongoing functions of simulation education.<h4>Duties & Responsibilities </h4><p><span style="text-decoration: underline">Training and Simulation Coordination</span></p><p><span style="text-decoration: underline"><em> </em></span>•Monitor and coordinate modifications for simulation activities based upon professional development needs of the field and OLPD training schedules in conjunction with the simulation team.</p><p> • Manage and produce hard copies of supporting documents for upcoming simulation deliveries and provide logistical support to Simulation facilitators.</p><p> • Work with the Simulation Facilitator and OLPD curriculum design team, and pre/in-service leadership or their designee to ensure that all electronic versions of training materials are accurate, align with the most recent version of the Foundation training and simulation manual, and are stored in the required and appointed Illinois Department of Children and Family Services (IDCFS) identified electronic storage file location.</p><p> • Coordinate the scheduling of all actors, coordinating schedules with actor vendor, and assist with the scheduling and invites for sim deliveries and CPTA meetings hosted by UIUC-CPTA.</p><p> • Develop orientation materials in collaboration with the OLPD and other University partners for new actors and scenarios.</p><p> • Maintain the equipment and take lead in troubleshooting and resolving equipment and technical issues including but not limited to camera video and audio, live streaming, smartboards, laptops, etc.</p><p><span style="text-decoration: underline">Training Support</span> </p><p>• Work with DCFS, OLPD, other University partners, to facilitate the implementation of the video “storage unit” so simulation trainees and supervisors will be able to review the simulations.</p><p> • Assist the Simulation Facilitator, Director of CCPTA, OLPD and other University partners to develop new character profiles for new simulation trainings.</p><p> • Ensure simulation participants are provided opportunities to provide program evaluation and feedback of simulation to the CCPTA.</p><p>• Provide regular and ongoing written reports to the Director of CCPTA regarding but not limited to tracking data such as the usage of actors, number of simulation deliveries, completion rates for participants, and any relevant data related to participant evaluation feedback.</p><p><span style="text-decoration: underline">Other Duties</span></p><p> • Support the Simulation Facilitator, Director of CCPTA, OLPD, and other University partners in coordinating a SACWIS Skills Component of Simulation training.</p><p> • Assist the CCPTA Director in responding to requests from other community partners and stakeholders interested in utilizing the CCPTA Simulation Center in Chicago.</p><p> • Other duties as assigned.</p><br><h4>Travel Requirements</h4>10% Travel Required<h4>Minimum Qualifications</h4><p>Bachelor’s degree. One (1) year of work experience in coordination and/or scheduling in an office environment.</p><h4> Preferred Qualifications</h4><p>Experience in video editing. Experience within a child welfare, human service or social work academic setting; experience in troubleshooting and technical expertise.</p><h4>Knowledge, Skills and Abilities</h4><ul><li>Working knowledge of video and audio equipment. </li><li>Working knowledge of basic database systems such as Microsoft Excel or similar.</li></ul><h4>Appointment Information</h4><p>This is a 100% full-time Civil Service 5001 - Program Assistant position, appointed on a 12-month basis. The expected start date is as soon as possible after the search posting closes. The budgeted annual salary for this position is $52,416. This position is not eligible for any type of sponsorship for work authorization.
