<dd><p></p><p style="margin: 0;">The purpose of this class is to perform facilitation and instruction for job seekers within Job Network, functional program-serving students with life and employment challenges within Continuing Education at the college.</p><p data-pasted="true" style="margin: 0px 0px 0px 0.25in; color: inherit; font-style: normal; text-align: start; text-indent: 0px;"><br></p><br></dd>
<dt><h2>Minimum Requirements</h2></dt>
<dd><p></p><p style="margin: 0;">Bachelor’s degree and two (2) years of full time experience working in career development, teaching workshops, or facilitating courses Or Associate’s degree and four (4) years of full time experience working in career development, teaching workshops, or facilitating courses. Experience working with individuals who have barriers to employment (for example, childcare challenges, transportation limitations, and/or recipient of benefits through the Department of Social Services).Preferred experience facilitating virtual classes and/or workshops. </p><p data-pasted="true" style="margin: 0px 0px 0px 0.25in; color: inherit; font-style: normal; text-align: start; text-indent: 0px;"><strong style=" font-weight: 700;"><span style=" color: inherit;">Compensation within the posted range is determined by a candidate's education level and/or years of experience in the field. <dt><h2>Position Specific Essential Duties</h2></dt>
<dd><p></p><ol style="margin-left: -0.25in; margin-bottom: 3pt"><li><span style="color: inherit">Facilitate in person and virtual workshops related to employment and life management, includes lesson planning, instruction and proctoring assessments.</span></li><li><span style="color: inherit">Provide employment and life skills preparation classes, with specific focus on success in the workplace. Additional topics to include workplace computer skills training and basic academic skills preparation in reading, writing, and employment related math.</span></li><li><span style="color: inherit">Maintain accurate attendance records and document progress and outcomes in compliance with CCBC, state, federal, Baltimore Department of Social Services and Baltimore County Court system guidelines.</span></li><li><span style="color: inherit">Support the team by sharing information and ideas on best ways to assist and empower students to obtain and retain employment.</span></li><li><span style="color: inherit">Provide case management to students when needed. </span></li></ol></dd>
