Job Purpose:
The Advanced Practice Provider will be responsible for managing the care and treatment of urological patients. They will work closely with our medical urologists and other center team members to implement treatment plans and monitor progress.
What We Offer:
Compensation:Anticipatedsalary range of $135,000 - $165,000 per year. The salary range listed is an estimate and isdeterminedby multiple factors including, but not limited to, a candidates relevant education, experience andskillsand an evaluation of internal pay equity.

Major Responsibilities:
Treat and care for our patients
Participation as a member of multidisciplinary urologic cancer center team
Performs physical examinations applying the medical model and nursing process to patient care problems. Strives tomaintainconsistency of quality patient care.
Discriminates between normal and abnormal findings, consulting with physician advisor whenindicated; evaluatesdiagnoses andmanages certain illnesses and conditions; ordersappropriate laboratorystudies; identifiesappropriate pharmacologicagents and non-pharmacologic interventions; refers or consults with other physicians.
Conduct hospital consultations &participatein rounding of inpatients if needed.
Develops and implements patient education activities.
Build trusting relationships with patients and referring providers.
Provides leadership in care coordination and serves as a clinical resource to medical assistants and urologynurses.
Enhance professional growth through reviewing current literature, attending educational meetings, and workshops.
Qualifications and Education Requirements:
Master's Degree as Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Studies
National Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Board Certification through accrediting body
Current Basic Life Support
EMR / computer skills
2+ year commitment preferred
Mission-driven towards comprehensive patient care, i.e., a desire to develop depth in caring forpatientas a whole and setting down roots in the provider community.
Bilingual skills preferred
Calm under pressure; problem-solving skills
Clinical curiosity
