Cancer Care of North Florida provides comprehensive, patient-centered cancer and urology care, including medical oncology, radiation therapy, imaging, and infusion services. Serving the Lake City community for over 20 years, Cancer Care of North Florida provides individualized treatment plans, timely access to care, and a collaborative, multidisciplinary approach in a single, convenient setting. Physicians are supported by integrated services and a commitment to compassionate, high-quality care delivery.
The Medical Urologist will be responsible for managing the care and treatment of urological patients and will work closely with center team members to implement treatment plans and monitor progress.
What We Offer
Compensation:Anticipatedsalary range of $450,000 - $650,000per year+ productivitybonus.The salary range listed is an estimate and isdeterminedby multiple factors including, but not limited to, a candidates relevant education, experience andskillsand an evaluation of internal pay equity.

Major Responsibilities
Treat and care for our patients
Participate as a member of multidisciplinary urologic cancer center team
Participate in the educational life of the Department
Serve as a professional role model for trainees with peers, patients, families and other members of the health care team
Diagnosis and treat patient disorders related to the genitourinary organs and connected tissues
Refer and consult with other specialists and the patients primary care provider
Qualifications
MD or MD/PhD with medical training specifically in urology
Must be Board certified and/or Board eligible in urology with a state license in good standing
If Board eligible, must be willing to take the boards and successfully pass within 12 months
Ability to interpret clinical, genomic and efficacy data
Motivated to work in a fast-paced environment
Through and up-to-date working knowledge of urological treatment options
Technical skills to operate medical equipment and tools related to urology treatment
Ability to effectively communicate with patients, technicians, fellow medical professionals and other clinic team members
Excellent communication and presentation skills
