Position SummaryThe English Department at Community College of Philadelphia is a professional organization of nearly 300 full and part-time faculty members teaching over 750 sections of courses each term on the Main Campus and at the Regional Centers. We provide instruction in developmental reading and writing, English as a second language (ESL), college writing, literature, communication studies, mass media, theater, and creative writing. We offer Associate of Arts degrees in Communication Studies/Mass Media, English, and Theater. Our curriculum helps prepare students for careers in broadcast and print journalism, screenwriting, public relations, advertising, education marketing, and theater. Essential Responsibilities

Are you bilingual or have other language proficiency?
Do you have a Master’s degree in English, Rhetoric, or Composition, or a related degree in Fine Arts, English Education, and Reading/Literacy?
