Learn more at </b><a href="https://www.jnj.com/" target="_blank"><b>https://www.jnj.com/</b></a><b>. </b></p><p></p><p></p><p><b>We are searching for the best talent for Production Associate II (2nd Shift).</b></p><p></p><p><b>You will be responsible for:</b></p><ul><li><p>Manufacture fiber optic sensors based on the following operations:</p></li><li><p>Handling 0.1 mm optical fiber</p></li><li><p>Removing fiber sheathing using chemicals</p></li><li><p>Optical Connector/Ferrule attach using epoxy</p></li><li><p>Connector/Ferrule polishing and inspection</p></li><li><p>Cleaning of optical components</p></li><li><p>Use of precision scale, chemical dispensing, and automated mixing equipment</p></li><li><p>Using tweezers to position, align and assemble 0.2 mm optical sensor to 0.1 mm optical fiber while working under a microscope.</p></li><li><p>Perform chemical tuning of optical sensor to performance criteria.</p></li><li><p>Positioning and bonding of 0.3 mm diameter tube to &#43;/- 0.025 mm placement using tweezers and microscopes.</p></li><li><p>Using calibrated instruments, measurement equipment, microscopes, and test fixtures to test and inspect fiber optic components.</p></li><li><p>Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of vacuum test fixtures.</p></li><li><p>Accurate data collection, data entry and data review using electronic travelers.</p></li><li><p>Maintain clean room integrity by using proper attire and adherence to clean room environment practice and procedures.</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>Qualifications / Requirements:</b></p><p><b>Education:</b></p><ul><li><p><b> </b>High School graduate or equivalent manufacturing experience required.</p></li></ul><p><b>Experience and Skills:</b></p><p><b>Required:</b></p><ul><li><p>Detail oriented with experience in precise alignment of optical components while working under a microscope.</p></li><li><p>Great hand-eye coordination and dexterity skills for assembling very small components under a microscope.</p></li><li><p>2&#43; years of related work experience desired.</p></li><li><p>Ability to read, write, and speak English.</p></li><li><p>Proficient with Microsoft Office applications such as Word and Excel</p></li><li><p>Willing to work  (3:30p-11pm)</p></li></ul><p><b>Preferred:</b></p><ul><li><p>Expertise working with Fiber Optics is a plus.</p></li></ul><p></p><p></p><p><b>Johnson &amp; Johnson is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
