We provide consummate cyber security risk management as a service platform across multiple fabrics and centers. We have responsibility to ensure operational IT capabilities provide the client with necessary timeliness, accuracy and security of information demanded from all our highly professional roles. HOW A TASK ORDER LEAD WILL MAKE AN IMPACTCommunicating with your team and customer to ensure mission success.Directing and controlling activities for the customer to ensure that technical requirements are met.Interfacing with senior management and negotiating requirements with the sponsor.Making decisions and applying cybersecurity and cloud domain knowledge to impact project implementation.Oversee and perform technical tasks to include scanning of networks/systems/infrastructure/applications and continuously monitor for vulnerabilities/threatsDirectly engage with government CISO for risk posture, strategy and remediationAssist junior level candidates with continuous monitoring tasks which includes patch, asset, incident, configuration, information and license managementCreate, revise and suggest content to cyber security policies, internal process documents and standard operating processes (SOPs)Ability to review system and project requirements, architecture, web applications and other artifacts to provide cyber security input, comments and feedback from a Continuous Monitoring positionCreate meeting agendas, meeting minutes and other meeting documentationExperience with conducting research and evaluating the latest technologies and software for possible integration into enterprise WHAT YOULL NEED TO SUCCEED:Education: Bachelors (Computer engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Information systems, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a closely related discipline)Required Experience: 10+ yrsSecurity Clearance Level: TS/SCI with active polygraphRequired Technical Skills:Strong understanding of Risk Management Framework, NIST 800-53, CNSS 1253, ICD 503 and other relevant security standardsExperience with recommending security standards and compliance through system monitoring and auditsExperience conducting vulnerability scans using Nessus, AppDetective and WebInspect and performing analysis on the scansStrong understanding of Enterprise Continuous Monitoring, tools, processes, and proceduresStrong understanding of FISMA audits and the ability to provide input annual basisAbility to investigate, report and provide resolution to security incidentsAbility to coordinate and collaborate with external organizations on processes and tools to improve the continuous monitoring of enterprise systemsAbility to create presentations outlining schedules, security findings and recommendations, and risksExperience in AWS and Azure cloud securityDesired Skills:Demonstrated experience in IT best practices regarding application, enterprise system, and network securityPossesses strong analytical and problem-solving skillsPossesses excellent interpersonal, organizational, writing, communications and briefing skillsDesired Certifications:Security Certifications to include CISSP, CISM, CISA, CEH, NCSF, CAPCloud certifications in Amazon and Azure cloud technologiesLocation: McLean, VA - On Customer Site GDIT IS YOUR PLACE:401K with company matchComprehensive health and wellness packagesInternal mobility team dedicated to helping you own your careerProfessional growth opportunities including paid education and certificationsCutting-edge technology you can learn fromRest and recharge with paid vacation and holidays #OpportunityOwned#GDITCareers#WeAreGDIT#JET#VA_2026Alumni#GDITEnhanced2026
