GDIT is seeking qualified candidates for Mission Training Complex Capabilities Support II (MTCCS II) program. GDIT delivers individual sustainment through collective Mission Command training, Leadership Training / Development, Warfighter Functions (WFF) training, Delta Training, First Person Simulations (Gaming), and constructive simulations supported training. Technical integration between simulation and C4I systems. Establish /maintain training and exercise networks. Accomplish Risk Management Framework Certification and Accreditation security and risk management activities. Advance how our customers operate while you advance your career. MEANINGFUL WORK AND PERSONAL IMPACT:Integrate LVC systems so commanders and staff can train against realistic scenariosImprove training realism by reducing simulation disconnects and technical limitationsEnsure that Army and Joint simulations can exchange information and operate togetherConfigure, test, troubleshoot, and document Linuxbased simulation systems, including creating and updating technical documentation as needed.Apply system updates, quarterly patches, IAVAs, and adjust system configurations or software as needed to resolve user issues and meet design requirements.Execute and support training events through user account management, workstation player/controller training, and handson exercise execution.Implement the Department of Defense Information Assurance Certification and Accreditation Process (DIACAP/Risk Management Framework-DIACAP/ RMF), the standard process under which all Department of Defense (DoD) information Systems achieve and maintain their Authority to Operate (ATO)Provide rapid and effective technical support during highvisibility training exercises to ensure uninterrupted operations.Comprehensive IT understanding including operating systems, networking, virtualization, and security practices, with handson experience administering both Windows and Linux environments.Participates in special projects as required WHAT YOULL NEED TO SUCCEED:Education: AA in a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical certifications and training (Preferred)3 years of related experience; preferred military experience at the tactical to operational levelRequired Technical Skills:Experience in configuring, maintaining, operating and integrating JLVC federate systems.Understanding of HLA and RTIKnowledge of DIS protocolsExperience with Windows Server and Linux administrationPractical experience managing gateway services, federation interfaces, and simulation connectivityCertification: Comp TIA SEC+ certification (preferred)Security Clearance Level: Secret clearance is required within 90 days upon starting; must have Interim Secret.Required Skills and Abilities:Superb presentation and communication skillsStrong ability to advise and educate leadership through non-technical terms on simulation requirements and training objectivesKnowledgeable in JLVC network administrationMust be able to work within a technical team to create a high fidelity, realistic training event in a Simulated and Constructive environment to meet customer requirements for distributed and multinational exercisesLocation: On Customer Site / moderate travel required to other customer sites throughout AoRGDIT IS YOUR PLACE: At GDIT, the mission is our purpose, and our people are at the center of everything we do.Growth: AI-powered career tool that identifies career steps and learning opportunitiesSupport: An internal mobility team focused on helping you achieve your career goalsRewards: 401K with company matchCommunity: Award-winning culture of innovation and a military-friendly workplaceOWN YOUR OPPORTUNITY Explore a career in simulations at GDIT and youll find endless opportunities to grow alongside colleagues who share your passion for the mission and delivering results.
