Special Projects Specialist
The Agile Content Creation Engagement Team (ACCET) Special Projects Specialist will help with the execution of contests, community/ station events. This person will coordinate and execute special projects such as community awareness, disaster relief, contests, and other duties as assigned.This position will assist with calendarizing events, contests, or special projects. In addition, this role will ensure events, contests, or special projects coincide with ACCET brand and community guidelines.The Special Projects Coordinator will assist with the creation of such items as: promotional content, sponsored content, sponsored elements, promotional news/ social copy, writing press releases, developing on-site elements, coordinating emcee schedules, organizing onsite activities, ordering branded items, and ordering local ACCET station and Sinclair properties branded marketing materials (SWAG).Required Skills: <ul style="list-style-type: disc;"><li style="color: black;">Event and project coordination experience</li><li style="color: black;">Strong organizational and time-management skills</li><li style="color: black;">Excellent written and verbal communication</li><li style="color: black;">Ability to manage timelines, logistics and multiple deadlines</li><li style="color: black;">Community-partner and stakeholder communication</li><li style="color: black;">Cross Collaboration experience with sales, marketing, social, news and production<ul><li>Creative problem-solving and attention to detail</li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Office</li></ul></li></ul>Special Projects Specialists Day will consist of:<ul><li>Meet with community partners and stations to review events.</li><li>Develop plans to execute events and initiatives in the region.</li><li>Collaborate and assist with the creation of internal and external communications (i.e., Press releases, Sales Sizzle reels, and employee communication).</li><li>Work with legal to develop rules for local station and Sinclair contest promotions.</li><li>Enter project request into Adobe Workfront for community events promos, PSAs, contest, etc. to be developed.</li><li>Provide elements for content creation</li><li>Assist in the planning, standardization of high school sports production in the region, and across ACCET.  <ul><li>Including but not limited to; scheduling pre-taped segments, coordinating with schools leading up to games, scheduling client interviews, ordering trophies and plaques, creating weekly run-downs/ scripts, and being on site for game day production.</li></ul></li></ul> Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud especially Premiere Pro.  After Effects, Photoshop, and Illustrator a plus.Apply today and help us create meaningful moments in every market we serve.<div> </div>Please note that this position is not eligible for visa sponsorship, including employer sponsorship for an H-1B visa, OPT-STEM employment, etc.<div> </div><div>Sinclair is proud to be an equal opportunity employer and a drug free workplace.
