The Health Technology Assessment (HTA), Value & Evidence (HV&E) team is responsible for ensuring patients have affordable, timely access to medicines and vaccines by advancing innovative value and evidence solutions to inform healthcare decision-making. The Director, HTA, Value & Evidence (HV&E) Internal Medicine Early Pipeline will support the strategic goals of the Internal Medicine Division by driving optimal patient access for Pfizers portfolio of obesity and non-obesity products in early pipeline. This role influences global business objectives by guiding strategic evidence development to ensure optimal patient access for obesity and non-obesity products. In collaboration with the asset development team, the Director will formulate HEOR strategy and conduct/oversee evidence generation activities, in particular, real-world data (RWD) studies and economic models for cost-effectiveness and budget impact, to support assets in the early pipeline phase and prepare for phase 3. The HV&E Director will be responsible for developing and executing against the global evidence generation strategy, including direct oversight of evidence generation activities and dissemination of technical deliverables. This position will be part of Pfizers dynamic Global HTA Value and Evidence team and will have the important role of managing health economics and outcomes research (HEOR) to generate data to support patient access to obesity and non-obesity products, with a primary focus on obesity products in early clinical development. This position will be working closely with the Primary Care Global Access Strategy and Pricing (GASP) team, US Market Access team, cross-functional and country teams to foster a culture that promotes innovation and thrives on doing better for Pfizers patients and society in general.
