Recruitment Events & Sourcing

Diversity Candidate Sourcing

If you decide that you would like to have us source and recommend diverse candidates for you, we like to follow this simple process to get our recruiters working to find candidates on your behalf:
  1. You provide us with the candidate profiles that you would be looking to hire. Typically, we would work on 3 to 4 profiles at a time, with such information as level of experience, collegiate major, area of employment, geography, and industry experience.
  2. Once we have the candidate profiles we will be sourcing, the HBCU CONNECT team will implement a marketing plan and a list of databases that we can mine to generate candidates.
  3. We set up a landing page on our website where interested candidates can register and upload a resume.
  4. We begin sourcing candidates and inviting them to submit their information if we do not already have it on file.
  5. We screen all interested candidates.
  6. We send over a report each week (usually on Mondays) with all new candidates, and status updates on candidates from previous weeks, such that we can mutually track the candidates through your interview process and insure that we are finding the correct talent.
  7. Repeat process as new candidate profiles are shared/removed.
